Edorium Journals follows an open access publishing model. All articles are freely accessible, without any restriction, by any reader, in any part of the world. To support the open access initiative, instead of charging fees from the users to read the published content and restrict access of scientific literature, Article Processing Charge (APC) are levied after the manuscript has been accepted for publication.
All articles published in Edorium Journals are open access. Open access publishing implies that all readers, anywhere in the world, are allowed unrestricted access to full text of articles, immediately on publication in Edorium Journals. No payment is collected from the readers for accessing, downloading and reading the articles. This increases the citations of an article in other articles and increases its importance in academic literature. If a published paper can only be accessed by paying a subscription fee, many authors while writing their manuscripts, look elsewhere for free articles and include them in their citations. Due to this reason some very good articles suffer and lag behind in citations as readers cannot access them without paying for subscriptions. The Article Processing Charges pay for the editorial and production costs of the journals, for hosting the website, editing of articles, publishing articles online, preparing multiple formats of the articles, video editing and submitting the articles in electronic citation, indexing and abstracting databases. Authors submitting from institutions which are members of Institutional Membership program receive a waiver in APC. Authors enrolled in our Favored Author Program are given waivers in Article Processing Charges.
